“Step into the Series”

When Clash of Clans partnered with Netflix to bring the game to life as an animated series, our team was challenged to develop a campaign that would generate excitement around the show's release while staying true to the game's loyal fan base. We wanted to bridge the gap between the digital and physical worlds by giving players the chance to step into the Clash of Clans universe themselves.

Our concept, Step Into the Series, invited fans to scan QR-enabled billboards, create Clash-style avatars, and enter for the opportunity to actually appear in the Netflix series. By combining experiential marketing, out-of-home advertising, AI technology, and social media, we transformed a traditional advertisement into an interactive experience that celebrated the community behind the game.

Our campaign was recognized by the Young Ones Student Awards and selected for the University of Tennessee Tombras School of Advertising & Public Relations Annual Showcase.
